On Wednesday 22 February nine boys set off to Royal Tunbridge Wells to take part in the annual ISA Tag Rugby Tournament.

Our first game was against the eventual winners, Sacred Heart,Wandsworth. Complaceny saw us in trouble with the strong opponents taking advantage of this. However, we bounced back and a great game ensued. Unfortunately, we lost 7 - 12.

Our next competition were Elmhurst. We took the field full of determination which paid off with the team winning a tough encounter 7 - 5. This win ensured us a spot in the semi final against hosts The Mead. This was a tense affair, with the boys playing some flowing rugby. We were to be denied a place in the final by two points, losing 13 - 15.

The loss saw the team playing for third and fourth spot against Bishop Challoner. With nothing to lose and everything to gain, the boys played really good rugby and won 15 - 10, giving them third place.

The team played some really good running, supportive rugby at times and I believe, played the most attractive rugby of all the sides. Ben led his team confidently and all gave of their very best. We scored 42 tries to 42 against us. The try scorers were Jamie (18), Ben (7),Himmat (6), Tom (5), Shivam (3), Leo (2) and Dan (1). Well done boys on a good tournament.

A big thank you to The Mead for hosting and running a very good event and to Bruton's Coaches for getting us there and back safely.
